Responsibilities
- Design and oversee infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Lead site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and feasibility studies
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, cost estimates, and regulatory compliance documentation
- Multidisciplinary coordination with architects, environmental scientists, and contractors
- Implement BIM/CIM technologies for project modeling and lifecycle management
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads, and Revit
- Experience with TxDOT and FEMA regulatory standards
- Proven track record in project management and budget oversight
- Strong analytical skills with FEMA floodplain modeling expertise
- LEED AP certification preferred
