Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-million dollar contracts
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, environmental specialists, and government agencies
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations (TxDOT, FEMA, NFPA)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Develop innovative solutions for complex geotechnical challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Expert proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated success in managing DOT-funded projects
- Strong knowledge of LEED and sustainable design principles
- Experience with construction phase services and contract administration
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and client communication skills
