Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of municipal infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and drainage systems
- Perform hydraulic analysis and hydrologic modeling for stormwater management solutions
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies (TxDOT, FEMA, City of Austin) for permit compliance
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation using Primavera P6
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews of technical deliverables
- Develop construction specifications and contract documents
- Conduct site investigations and geotechnical analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- 8+ years of experience in land development and transportation engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS software
- Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED certification
- Demonstrated project management for $5M+ infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT and municipal design standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
