Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for new developments
- Prepare detailed engineering calculations, specifications, and construction documentation using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical deliverables for accuracy and compliance
- Implement sustainable design practices and LEED certification protocols
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality control processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil design and project management
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Experience with TxDOT and Harris County permitting processes
- Demonstrated expertise in transportation or water resources engineering
- Strong leadership skills with proven team management experience
- Familiarity with FEMA floodplain mapping and stormwater management
