Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including MRT extensions, coastal protection systems, and urban redevelopment zones
- Perform advanced structural analysis using BIM tools (Revit, Civil 3D) and FEA modeling for complex load scenarios
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams including architects, geotechnical engineers, and environmental specialists
- Ensure compliance with Singapore's Code of Practice for Structural Use of Concrete and other regulatory frameworks
- Develop value engineering solutions to optimize project costs while maintaining structural integrity and sustainability goals
- Manage tender documentation and contract negotiations with major contractors like Sembcorp and Woh Hup
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with Master's specialization in Structural or Geotechnical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of experience with Singaporean infrastructure projects including LTA or PUB projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration with the Professional Engineers Board Singapore (PEB)
- Expert proficiency in Singaporean codes: CP1, CP2, CP3, CP4, and SS540
- Advanced certification in BIM management (Autodesk Certified Professional) or sustainability frameworks (BCA Green Mark)
- Proven track record in managing projects exceeding SGD 50M in value
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical conditions in Singapore's marine clay and Jurong Formation
