Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, SAP2000)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with local/state/Federal regulations
- Conduct site investigations, soil testing, and feasibility studies
- Develop detailed construction documents and specifications
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with external stakeholders
- Implement sustainable design practices (LEED certification preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- PE licensure in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expertise in transportation or water resources engineering
- Proficiency in BIM/CAD modeling and structural analysis software
- Proven project management with $10M+ project experience
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT and FEMA regulations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
