Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
- Conduct thorough site inspections to ensure construction quality, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop comprehensive technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications using advanced CAD and BIM software.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate closely with architects, urban planners, and government officials to align project goals with community needs.
- Perform structural analysis and soil testing to determine the feasibility and safety of proposed developments.
- Supervise and mentor a team of junior engineers and drafters to foster professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BEng/BSc) or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in civil infrastructure design and project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and Bentley MicroStation.
- In-depth knowledge of local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
