Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in project planning, budgeting, and execution
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (TxDOT, FEMA, etc.)
- Conduct site investigations, soil analysis, and feasibility studies
- Develop detailed construction plans using Auto Civil 3D and BIM software
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications
- Mentor junior engineers and implement quality control processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- PE license required (Texas P.E. or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- 8+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and GIS systems
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards and permitting processes
- Proven track record of managing projects over $5M in value
- LEED AP certification highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
