Responsibilities
- Design and oversee infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and water systems
- Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Conduct site inspections, analyze environmental impact, and resolve technical challenges
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies
- Develop sustainable solutions for urban infrastructure modernization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas required
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and GIS software
- Expertise in structural analysis, hydraulic modeling, and transportation planning
- Proven track record of managing infrastructure projects over $5M
- Strong communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
