Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale civil infrastructure projects (transportation, water systems, structural frameworks)
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, SAP2000)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-million dollar contracts
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical assessments, and compliance reviews
- Mentor junior engineers and oversee quality control documentation
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable construction and resilient infrastructure
- Liaise with municipal authorities, contractors, and stakeholders for regulatory approvals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred) from ABET-accredited institution
- 8+ years progressive experience in civil engineering with 3+ years in senior roles
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expertise in structural design, transportation planning, and hydraulic systems
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM modeling and construction management software
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT and FEMA regulations
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
