Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including MRT expansions, waterfront developments, and sustainable building systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D) and finite element modeling
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-million dollar contracts
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Building Authority (BCA) codes and international standards (ISO 19650)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews for design optimization
- Coordinate with government bodies (LTA, PUB) and private stakeholders for permit approvals
- Implement sustainable engineering practices in accordance with Singapore Green Mark standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from accredited institution (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Singapore's construction sector with 3+ years in senior roles
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent from Singapore Board of Engineers
- Expertise in structural design, geotechnical engineering, and project management methodologies
- Proficiency in BIM tools and construction management software (e.g., Primavera P6)
- Proven track record delivering complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's regulatory framework and tender processes
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to technical and non-technical stakeholders
