Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including transportation networks, water systems, and structural developments
- Perform complex structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, SAP2000)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical assessments, and feasibility studies
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with contractors, architects, and government agencies
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable construction materials and energy-efficient designs
- Prepare detailed technical reports, proposals, and permit documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering with emphasis on infrastructure projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and advanced engineering analysis software
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT, FEMA, and ADA compliance standards
- Demonstrated experience managing projects over $10M in value
- LEED AP or equivalent sustainability certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
