Responsibilities
- Manage complex civil engineering projects from conceptual design through construction administration.
- Perform advanced structural and hydraulic analysis using industry-standard software like AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Prepare detailed site development plans, grading, drainage, and utility infrastructure designs.
- Review and approve construction documents to ensure compliance with municipal and state regulations.
- Conduct site visits and field inspections to monitor project progress and site quality control.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, environmental consultants, and local government agencies.
- Mentor junior engineering staff, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Colorado or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in land development or municipal infrastructure projects.
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of local municipal codes, zoning laws, and stormwater management regulations.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of meeting budget and schedule milestones.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
