Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Perform detailed structural analysis using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with municipal authorities for permitting and compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Develop sustainable engineering solutions using green infrastructure principles
- Prepare technical specifications, cost estimates, and bid documents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in transportation or structural engineering
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Proven project management experience with $5M+ budgets
- Familiarity with TxDOT and FHWA standards
- Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills
- LEED AP certification a plus
