Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform structural analysis and geotechnical investigations using advanced modeling software
- Prepare detailed engineering plans, cost estimates, and project schedules
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct site inspections during construction phases
- Develop innovative sustainable design solutions for climate-resilient infrastructure
- Manage project budgets and resources while maintaining quality control standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in infrastructure design
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Demonstrated experience with DOT and municipal permitting processes
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT and FEMA regulations
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
