Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Manage project lifecycle from conceptualization through construction oversight
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (TxDOT, FEMA)
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct site investigations and geotechnical assessments
- Develop cost estimates and project schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and construction management software
- Strong understanding of sustainable design practices and LEED certification
- Experience with infrastructure resilience planning and climate adaptation
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
