Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams of architects, environmental specialists, and contractors
- Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to safety protocols and engineering standards
- Develop innovative solutions for complex geotechnical challenges in coastal environments
- Prepare detailed technical reports, proposals, and permit documentation for municipal review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit Structure, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of managing projects exceeding $10M in value
- Deep understanding of TxDOT and FEMA regulations
- Strong leadership skills with experience directing multidisciplinary teams
- LEED AP certification highly desirable
