Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex infrastructure projects including bridges, tunnels, and urban developments
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with NYC building codes and ADA standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews of technical documentation
- Coordinate with contractors, municipal agencies, and environmental specialists
- Develop innovative solutions for geotechnical challenges and sustainable construction methods
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 8+ years of experience in large-scale projects
- PE license in New York State
- Expertise in NYC Local Laws and construction permitting processes
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM modeling and finite element analysis software
- Proven track record of managing projects exceeding $50M in value
- LEED AP certification strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder management and public presentations
