Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including bridges, highways, and urban development
- Perform advanced structural analysis using BIM/CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with local/state regulations
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, environmental scientists, contractors)
- Conduct site inspections, quality assurance reviews, and risk mitigation assessments
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable construction materials and methods
- Prepare technical documentation and client presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure projects
- PE licensure in Illinois or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in structural design, geotechnical analysis, and construction management
- Proficiency in civil engineering software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, Revit)
- Demonstrated success leading complex projects $5M+
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety protocols and ADA compliance
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills
