Responsibilities
- Lead design and construction oversight for large-scale civil infrastructure projects
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, environmental specialists, and contractors
- Develop comprehensive engineering reports, cost estimates, and compliance documentation
- Implement BIM/CIM technologies for project modeling and lifecycle management
- Ensure adherence to OSHA, ADA, and municipal building codes
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Research and integrate sustainable materials and green building practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- PE license in Illinois with 8+ years of experience
- Expertise in structural analysis, hydrology, and transportation systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and GIS platforms
- Proven project management with $50M+ infrastructure experience
- Strong knowledge of Chicago zoning ordinances and permitting processes
- LEED AP certification highly desirable
