Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Manage project budgets exceeding $10M and coordinate multidisciplinary teams of 15+ engineers
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, FEMA, and International Building Codes
- Utilize BIM/CIM technologies for 4D modeling and clash detection
- Conduct site investigations and geotechnical analysis for large-scale developments
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews for quality assurance
- Develop sustainable design solutions incorporating LEED and Envision standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in transportation or structural engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with federal/state permitting processes
- Strong understanding of geotechnical analysis and foundation design
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Experience leading projects in seismic or coastal zones
- Excellent communication skills for client stakeholder management
