Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex civil infrastructure projects including MRT extensions, waterfront developments, and sustainable urban drainage systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using BIM software (Revit, Civil 3D) and finite element modeling
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation while ensuring compliance with Singapore's Building Construction Authority (BCA) regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct constructability reviews to optimize construction methodologies
- Develop innovative solutions for geotechnical challenges in Singapore's challenging soil conditions
- Coordinate with government agencies (LTA, URA, EMA) for permits and regulatory compliance
- Implement sustainable design practices to achieve Green Mark Platinum certifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's preferred
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration with Singapore's Professional Engineers Board
- Expertise in Singapore's Code of Practice for Structural Use of Concrete (CP65) and Geotechnical Engineering Manual
- Advanced proficiency in structural analysis software (SAP2000, PLAXIS) and BIM tools
- Demonstrated success in managing projects >SGD 50M value
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and pile foundation design
- LEED AP or equivalent sustainability certification highly desirable
