Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex civil engineering projects (roads, bridges, utilities) from concept to completion
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Building Authority (BCA) regulations and PUB requirements
- Conduct structural analysis using BIM tools (Revit, Civil 3D) and geotechnical assessments
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for 5-10 concurrent projects
- Oversee site supervision, quality control, and contractor coordination
- Develop sustainable infrastructure solutions incorporating smart city technologies
- Prepare tender documents and technical specifications for public sector tenders
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with PE/Chartered Engineer certification
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Singapore's construction sector
- Expertise in geotechnical engineering and structural design for high-rise buildings
- Proficiency in Singapore's building codes (BCA) and infrastructure standards
- Certification in project management (PMP/PRINCE2) preferred
- Experience with PUB's Active, Beautiful, Clean Waters (ABC) Waters guidelines
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in FEA modeling software
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
