Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex infrastructure projects including transportation networks, water systems, and public facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, environmental specialists, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, FEMA, and municipal regulations
- Manage project budgets exceeding $10M with rigorous cost-control methodologies
- Develop innovative solutions for geotechnical challenges in Central Texas terrain
- Mentor junior engineers through technical training and professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS, SWMM) and transportation planning
- Proven track record of managing large-scale municipal projects
- Familiarity with BIM/CIM implementation in civil workflows
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in structural software (SAP2000, STAAD)
