Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Manage the full lifecycle of civil engineering projects, from initial site surveys and feasibility studies to final completion and handover.
- Design & Planning: Develop detailed technical drawings, structural calculations, and construction plans using advanced CAD and BIM software.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with clients, government authorities, and internal teams to communicate project progress, address technical challenges, and manage expectations.
- Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, prepare cost estimates, and optimize resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
- Traffic Management & Safety: Develop comprehensive traffic management plans (TMP) and safety protocols for construction sites to minimize disruption and ensure worker safety.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Masters degree is a plus).
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent recognized certification in Singapore.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in civil construction, infrastructure development, or structural engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera P6, or similar engineering software.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex engineering problems and provide innovative solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Building Control Act (BCA) and other relevant local regulations.
