Responsibilities
- Lead design and construction oversight for large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis and hydraulic modeling using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRoads
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project milestones
- Develop cost estimates, construction schedules, and compliance documentation for local and federal regulations
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical assessments, and environmental impact studies
- Mentor junior engineers and lead quality assurance reviews for deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred) with PE license in Texas
- 8+ years of progressive experience in transportation or structural engineering
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software (HEC-RAS, SWMM)
- Demonstrated success managing projects over $50M with complex regulatory requirements
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT, FEMA, and OSHA standards
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and stakeholder communication skills
