Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and municipal systems
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations (TxDOT, FEMA, etc.) and industry standards
- Conduct site investigations, soil analysis, and feasibility studies
- Oversee CAD/BIM modeling and construction documentation
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, environmental specialists)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and GIS software
- Strong expertise in structural analysis and hydraulic modeling
- Proven track record with complex infrastructure projects
- Excellent problem-solving and leadership abilities
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices (LEED certification a plus)
