Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale civil infrastructure projects including MRT extensions, waterfront developments, and sustainable urban drainage systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using BIM software (Revit, Civil 3D) and finite element modeling tools
- Oversee site operations, contractor coordination, and quality assurance protocols to ensure project milestones are met
- Develop innovative geotechnical solutions for challenging soil conditions and seismic resilience
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, cost estimates, and tender documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and foster cross-functional collaboration with architects, environmental consultants, and government agencies
- Ensure compliance with Singapore's Building Control Act, BCSD guidelines, and green mark certification requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in infrastructure design and construction supervision
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration with Singapore's Professional Engineers Board
- Expertise in structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, and hydrological modeling
- Proficiency in BIM technologies and advanced engineering software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, ETABS, Plaxis)
- Proven track record of managing projects exceeding SGD 50M in value
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's building codes and Land Transport Authority standards
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with experience in complex urban environments
