Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including bridges, highways, and urban transit systems
- Conduct advanced structural analysis using BIM software (Revit, Civil 3D) ensuring compliance with ASCE and ICC standards
- Manage project budgets and timelines while coordinating multidisciplinary teams of architects, contractors, and environmental specialists
- Oversee site investigations, geotechnical assessments, and construction phase quality assurance
- Develop innovative sustainable solutions for stormwater management and green infrastructure integration
- Prepare technical documentation including engineering reports, permits, and client presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; PE license required
- 8+ years of progressive experience in transportation or structural engineering
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record leading projects exceeding $50M in value
- Deep knowledge of Illinois DOT and municipal construction regulations
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior engineers
- LEED AP certification preferred
