Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of major infrastructure projects including MRT extensions, coastal protection systems, and smart city initiatives
- Perform structural analysis and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D)
- Ensure compliance with Singapore's Building Authority (BCA) regulations and international standards (ISO, EN)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-million-dollar contracts
- Conduct site inspections, quality control checks, and risk assessments during construction phases
- Develop tender documents and evaluate contractor proposals for public and private sector clients
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training on BIM implementation and sustainable practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure design with Singaporean project exposure
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent international qualification
- Expert proficiency in BIM software and structural analysis tools
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's building codes and land transport authority guidelines
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for geotechnical and hydraulic challenges
- Fluency in English with excellent report writing and presentation abilities
