Responsibilities
- Oversee design and execution of complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through all project phases from feasibility to commissioning
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, FEMA, and local municipal regulations
- Implement sustainable design practices using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRail
- Conduct site investigations, soil analysis, and hydraulic modeling
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in transportation or water resources
- Expert proficiency in civil engineering software (Civil 3D, GIS, HEC-RAS)
- Proven track record of managing $10M+ infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of ADA compliance, TCEQ regulations, and LEED standards
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and client relationship management
- Experience with public procurement processes and contract administration
