Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Conduct site investigations, soil analysis, and feasibility studies for new developments
- Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with local regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including environmental specialists
- Conduct structural analysis and hydraulic modeling for infrastructure resilience planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software
- Experience with FEMA floodplain analysis and TCEP compliance
- Proven track record of managing projects exceeding $5M in value
- Strong knowledge of ASTM standards and local permitting processes
