Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, SAP2000)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with local/state regulations (TCEQ, FEMA)
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical assessments, and construction phase oversight
- Develop detailed engineering reports, specifications, and contract documents
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with external stakeholders (municipalities, contractors)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in transportation infrastructure or structural design systems
- Proficiency with BIM/CIM modeling and geospatial technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCEQ permitting and FEMA floodplain regulations
- Proven project leadership with $5M+ project delivery experience
