Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects (bridges, highways, water systems)
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through project lifecycle from conception to completion
- Ensure strict compliance with ASCE standards, local regulations, and safety protocols
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies for new developments
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation efficiently
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, permits, and construction documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical quality reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure design and project management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record with DOT/FHWA compliance and TxDOT projects
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical analysis and structural design principles
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- LEED AP certification or sustainable design experience preferred
