Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including MRT extensions, flood mitigation systems, and smart city initiatives
- Perform advanced structural analysis using FEA software for complex building foundations and underground structures
- Manage multidisciplinary teams of architects, environmental consultants, and construction specialists
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Building Authority (BCA) regulations and PUB water management standards
- Develop innovative sustainable solutions integrating solar roads, permeable pavements, and rainwater harvesting systems
- Prepare detailed project documentation including tender submissions, construction methodologies, and quality control plans
- Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot complex engineering challenges in real-time
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with P.Eng. or equivalent professional certification
- Minimum 8 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure projects with proven track record in MRT or coastal protection
- Expert proficiency in structural analysis software (STAAD.Pro, SAP2000) and BIM modeling (Revit)
- Deep knowledge of Singapore's building codes, PUB guidelines, and Land Transport Authority standards
- Certification in sustainable infrastructure design (LEED AP, BREEAM) or coastal engineering
- Strong leadership background managing teams of 15+ engineers across project phases
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities for complex geotechnical and hydrological challenges
