Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex civil engineering projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, SAP2000)
- Ensure compliance with Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and local municipal codes
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-million dollar initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews of technical deliverables
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical assessments, and feasibility studies
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable drainage systems and flood mitigation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience with large-scale infrastructure projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in structural analysis, hydraulic modeling, and transportation planning
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and construction management software
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of FEMA floodplain regulations and TxDOT design standards
- Excellent leadership and client communication skills
