Responsibilities
- Lead design and construction oversight for large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and municipal utilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and client communications throughout project lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal engineering regulations (TCEQ, FHWA)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews of technical deliverables
- Develop sustainable design solutions incorporating green infrastructure principles
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, proposals, and construction documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (MS preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record managing projects over $10M in value
- Familiarity with Houston-area permitting processes and TCEQ requirements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and precision
- Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
