Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and execution of large-scale civil infrastructure projects (MRT extensions, coastal protection systems, etc.)
- Conduct structural analysis using BIM software (Revit, Civil 3D) and ensure compliance with Singapore Building Authority standards
- Manage multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical engineers, environmental consultants, and contractors
- Develop cost-effective solutions balancing technical feasibility, sustainability, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, tender documentation, and project specifications
- Implement risk mitigation strategies for complex construction challenges in urban environments
- Mentor junior engineers through technical workshops and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with P.Eng certification from Singapore's Professional Engineers Board
- Minimum 8 years of experience in land development or infrastructure projects in Singapore
- Expertise in geotechnical analysis, structural design, and hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS, Plaxis)
- Proficiency with Singapore's BCDA guidelines and LTA infrastructure standards
- Proven track record managing projects exceeding $50M value
- Certification in project management (PMP) or sustainable design (LEED AP)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex urban construction challenges
- Strong communication abilities for stakeholder management across government agencies
