Responsibilities
- Develop and execute seasonal menus that align with restaurant's culinary vision and sustainability ethos
- Lead kitchen brigade through hands-on training, workflow optimization, and performance management
- Oversee inventory control, cost management, and vendor relationships for premium ingredients
- Ensure consistent quality through plating standards, taste testing, and HACCP compliance
- Collaborate with front-of-house team to create seamless dining experiences
- Manage kitchen budgeting, P&L tracking, and waste reduction initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years in fine dining environments with 2+ years in leadership roles
- Classical French training with modernist techniques proficiency
- Proven menu development experience with seasonal, hyper-local focus
- ServSafe certification and advanced food safety management skills
- Strong financial acumen in cost control and inventory management
- Exceptional communication and team-building abilities
