Responsibilities
- Perform complex cardiovascular surgeries, including CABG, valve repairs, and aortic procedures.
- Lead multidisciplinary surgical teams in high-acuity clinical environments.
- Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative patient care management.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives and contribute to medical literature.
- Mentor junior residents and fellows during surgical rotations.
- Collaborate with cardiology, anesthesiology, and ICU teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain impeccable documentation and adherence to hospital safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Valid, unrestricted medical license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of post-residency experience in cardiovascular surgery.
- Proven expertise in robotic-assisted surgical techniques.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and hospital safety standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership communication skills.
