Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research and competitive analysis
- Develop and execute strategic go-to-market plans for new product launches
- Cultivate executive-level relationships with C-suite decision-makers in target industries
- Lead complex contract negotiations and partnership agreements worth $500K+
- Analyze market trends to inform product development and positioning strategies
- Collaborate with marketing to create compelling value propositions and sales collateral
- Track KPIs including pipeline growth, conversion rates, and client acquisition costs
- Mentor junior BD team members to enhance organizational capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years of B2B business development experience in SaaS/fintech
- Proven track record of closing enterprise deals ($250K+ average deal size)
- Expertise in CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools
