Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex drug discovery projects from target identification to pre-clinical validation.
- Design and execute in vitro and in vivo experiments to assess candidate efficacy and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including medicinal chemistry, clinical operations, and regulatory affairs.
- Maintain strict adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and FDA guidelines.
- Prepare and present technical data to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Author and contribute to peer-reviewed publications and patent applications.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or a related life science field.
- A minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical research.
- Proven track record of successfully leading research initiatives and delivering results within deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in molecular biology techniques (PCR, Western Blot, Cell Culture) and data analysis software.
- Experience with regulatory submissions and compliance documentation is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts for diverse audiences.
