Responsibilities
- Lead R&D pipeline for novel fermented beverage products using proprietary yeast strains
- Manage cross-functional teams including food scientists, flavorists, and packaging engineers
- Conduct consumer sensory panels and market analysis to validate product concepts
- Oversee pilot-scale production and quality control protocols
- Develop intellectual property strategies for novel fermentation processes
- Present innovation roadmap to executive leadership and investors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Food Science, Fermentation Technology, or related field
- 8+ years in beverage R&D with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record of launching 5+ commercial beverage products
- Expertise in anaerobic fermentation and probiotic stabilization
- Certified in HACCP and FSMA compliance
- Strong data analysis skills using sensory evaluation software
