Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-scale, low-latency RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Frontend, DevOps) to define feature requirements and technical specifications.
- Optimize database performance, write efficient SQL/NoSQL queries, and implement caching strategies.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish coding standards.
- Ensure system reliability through robust testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting in production environments.
- Drive technical decisions regarding cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and containerization strategies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
- Deep experience with AWS and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in designing and querying PostgreSQL or MongoDB databases.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Demonstrated ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
