Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices using Go and Rust.
- Architect and optimize database schemas and queries for PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to implement CI/CD pipelines and containerization strategies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and code quality.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in system architecture to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Implement security measures and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to validate system behavior.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Strong proficiency in Go or Rust, with experience in both preferred.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and RESTful API design.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and container orchestration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
