Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design and maintain scalable, high-availability backend systems and microservices architectures.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and SOLID principles.
- API Development: Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs that integrate seamlessly with third-party services and frontend applications.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in existing systems and implement optimizations to ensure sub-millisecond response times.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers and conduct code reviews to foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Security: Implement security best practices and conduct regular audits to protect user data and system integrity.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend development.
- Languages: Proficiency in Go, Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Databases: Strong experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
- Cloud: Proven track record of deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- DevOps: Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
