Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and private equity deals.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on corporate governance matters and risk management.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and regulatory compliance.
- Supervise and mentor junior associates and paralegals within the team.
- Represent the firm in client meetings and negotiations.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to sit for the bar immediately.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate law, transactional law, or related fields.
- Proven track record of successfully closing significant deals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
