Responsibilities
- Advise clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts and agreements.
- Conduct thorough legal research and due diligence to identify risks and opportunities.
- Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
- Supervise junior lawyers and legal assistants, providing training and guidance.
- Stay updated on changes in corporate law and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor (or Barrister) with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Proven track record in corporate and commercial law, specifically M&A.
- Strong academic background from a leading law school.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
