Responsibilities
- Manage and lead complex commercial litigation matters from inception to trial.
- Prepare and review pleadings, witness statements, and legal correspondence with meticulous attention to detail.
- Advise clients on litigation strategy and risk management.
- Supervise and mentor junior associates and paralegals within the team.
- Conduct detailed legal research and draft expert opinions.
- Negotiate settlements and represent the firm in court proceedings.
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor (SRA authorized) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
- Proven track record in commercial litigation or dispute resolution.
- Excellent academic credentials from a Russell Group or equivalent university.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage a heavy caseload and meet strict deadlines.
- Membership of the Law Society or equivalent body is essential.
