Responsibilities
- Lead the drafting and review of a wide range of corporate agreements, including NDAs, service agreements, and partnership contracts.
- Represent clients in state and federal courts, managing all phases of litigation from discovery to settlement.
- Conduct thorough due diligence for corporate transactions and identify potential legal risks.
- Advise management on compliance issues and regulatory changes affecting the industry.
- Collaborate with partners and junior staff to develop winning legal strategies.
- Manage client expectations and communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in New York and at least 5 years of post-graduate experience.
- Proven track record of handling large-scale corporate deals or significant litigation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
